We will use the personal information, should you chose to provide it, to contact you and provide information about the transportation services which may assist you. We will also use the personal information to follow-up for feedback should you provide your permission to do so. The purpose of follow-up is to obtain feedback to improve services.
We also will use the information to create non-personally-identifiable, aggregate reports about the people we serve. This information will be used to help us better understand the scope and nature of transportation needs in our community. These reports will help us evaluate the effectiveness of our service. These reports will not contain any personally-identifying information about you.
The County of Haliburton will not use your personal information through this website for any purpose other than those which are consistent with the above without your prior, explicit consent.
Disclosure of Information
The County of Haliburton will not disclose your personal information to any other organization without your prior, explicit consent.
The County of Haliburton may provide the aggregate reports to other organizations such as the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, but they will not contain any information that could identify you.
Retention of Personal Information
The County of Haliburton only keeps personal information for as long as it is required. Once it is no longer required, your personally identifiable information will be irretrievably destroyed.
We reserve the right to retain some information for statistical and reporting purposes after removing all personal identifiers.
